It's Monday! What are you reading?

It's Monday! What are you reading? is a great weekly meme now hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date. It's where we share what we've just read, what we're currently reading, and what we're starting next.

We did not intend to disappear from blogging last week! Real life reared its very demanding head, and we did not put up a note because every day we thought we'd be back the next day... but that just didn't happen. We're happy to be back now, and we'll be by to catch up with everyone this week. We hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day and that you will have a fabulous week!

  2. Hopefully, it was just busy stuff that kept you away and nothing troublesome. I am glad you are back. I can't wait to here what you think of the Cath Crowley book, I got a copy of that one. I adored Grafitti Moon. Hope you have a lovely week. Big huge hugs to you.

  7. WOW, what an interesting mix of books!! I've been looking forward to "Flame In The Mist" for some time now. Of course, I'll check out your review! As for "Skitter" and "Pretty Girls", they're not my type of read at all. I admire your bravery in reading them! Lol.

You know, some time back (was it a year ago?) MIRA Books (an imprint of Harlequin Enterprises) sent me a review copy of "Menagerie", the book that precedes "Spectacle". The funny thing is, though, I never requested it! Lol. I still have the book sitting on my night table....I'm not sure I will be able to read it, considering the plot. I might give it a try to see if I end up liking it.

"Antisocial" looks like VERY interesting commentary on the current social media craze. I think that people share TOO MUCH personal information on social media. I sure don't! I post other things. So I think I'll add this one to my Goodreads shelves!

"Words In Deep Blue" -- what a BEAUTIFUL title!! And I LOVE the shades of blue on the cover, if not the actual design itself. LOVE the plot, as well! Adding it to my GR shelves RIGHT NOW!

As for "The Bright Hour"....I nearly burst into tears when I read the synopsis on Goodreads..... I had to navigate away at warp speed! OMG. I can't handle this. Not at all. I do hope it's to your liking, though! You're MUCH stronger than I am, that's for sure.

Thanks for sharing all of these books, Michele & Mckenzie!! LOVE YOU BOTH!!!! LOTSA SMOOSHY HUGS!!!!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)
