On My Shelf is an awesome feature hosted by Teresa at Readers Live A Thousand Lives that anyone can join. The idea is to spotlight a book from your TBR shelf; it's a fun way to discuss books with fellow bloggers and, with their help, decide which books are must-reads... and which ones can wait a while longer.
Dream a Little Dream is another BookOutlet find. Weird dreams that may not be dreams, boys conducting magic rituals, and a move to a new school in London make this book sound like one intriguing read. I love the cover; and when I look at the title, I can't help but sing, "But in your dreams, whatever they be... dream a little dream of me."
Have you read Dream a Little Dream? What are your thoughts?
Do I drop everything and start reading -- or put it back on my shelf?
Hope everyone has a great weekend! See you next week!

Book Outlet is both a blessing and a curse lol. I do love that cover and dreams are always an intriguing concept! I'm useless though cause I haven't read this one haha. Love you!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Exactly! But we wouldn't trade it for anything. Love YOU!
DeleteBookOutlet? Never heard of it before, so I immediately opened another tab on my laptop and Googled it. Aaaaah, what a blissful discovery!!! But, as Teresa says, it can be a curse as well as a blessing, lol. All of those tempting, cheap books..... Thanks for putting this site on my radar, Michele!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd now for the book you've featured! That cover is just SO FREAKING GORGEOUS!!!! OMG!! I think I've seen this book on some blog somewhere along the way. I would say you should take it off the shelf and plunge in! Dreams are totally FASCINATING!!
I'm going over to Goodreads to see if "Dream A Little Dream" is already on my shelves, lol. But if it's not, then I'm adding it RIGHT AWAY!! HUGS GALORE for both you and Mckenzie!!!! <3 <3 :) :)
Ohhhh, my goodness! Shame on me for not realizing and telling you about it sooner! You are going to want to hug me and curse my name for introducing you to the magic that is that site! It's addictive, and I never want a cure. It has completed so many sets, and Maria -- from time to time, they will have those collector editions that we love for just a few dollars. Proceed with caution! lol
DeleteIt really is pretty, and it does sound good. I think we'd better read this one for sure. Thank you for stopping by. Big hugs to you from both of us! Have a wonderful weekend <3 <3 <3 xoxoxo
This does sound good and I love the setting and rituals!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it? I think I'd better check it out. :)
DeleteI love the cover and the book sounds interesting. Haven't read this one, but it does seem very appealing. :)

And the cover is even prettier in person -- I couldn't not grab it! lol :D
DeleteI LOVED this book! And the sequel too. I'm desperate for Just Dreaming. I loved Gier's other trilogy though - the Ruby Red series. One of my favorites ever. =) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend. =)
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
Ahhhh, thank you, Alyssa! I'm so happy to hear that! I grabbed the sequel as well, and I'm so glad I did now. I also had to grab the Ruby Red series based solely on cover lust. Those covers are stunning, and I have them scheduled to feature here at a later date. Thank you for letting me know those are a win, as well. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, as well :)
DeleteI read it, and I liked it but it wasn't compelling enough for me to continue the series. I am afraid I am just getting way burned out on YA, I find I don't enjoy it much anymore.
ReplyDeleteThat definitely happens, Heidi. I can't do NA nor YA contemporaries anymore; but as long as I have a young adult, I'll try to read YA fantasy/paranormal so that we can continue to bond over books. Thanks for weighing in :)
DeleteI love this author's books, and I loved this series so far. I'm sad they didn't make physical ARCs of the final book, because then I could have a matching set. I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa! I'm going to do just that :) Yeah, it hurts my brain when I can't have a matching set. Thanks for stopping by!
