On My Shelf: Vacation and Home by Matthew Costello

On My Shelf is an awesome feature hosted by Teresa at Readers Live A Thousand Lives that anyone can join. The idea is to spotlight a book from your TBR shelf; it's a fun way to discuss books with fellow bloggers and, with their help, decide which books are must-reads... and which ones can wait a while longer.

Vacation and Home. Grabbed these in my last BookOutlet haul because why wouldn't I be drawn to blood in a drain and coming out of a keyhole? Very Dexter-esque. But seriously, I'm still on my reading-adrenaline-rush kick, and post-apocalyptic thrillers fit that bill nicely. Combine that with the fact that author Jonathan Maberry, whom I adore, has said that he absolutely devoured Vacation; and I couldn't turn these down. Unfortunately, there aren't very many reviews of this series so I wanted your input.

Have you read Vacation and Home? What are your thoughts?
Do I drop everything and start reading -- or put them back on my shelf?

Hope everyone has a great weekend! See you next week!
