On My Shelf: Once Again (Once upon a Time) by Liz Braswell & Cameron Dokey

Teresa at Readers Live A Thousand Lives has an awesome feature called "On My Shelf" that anyone can join. The idea is to spotlight a book from your TBR shelf; it's a fun way to discuss books with fellow bloggers and, with their help, decide which books are must-reads... and which ones can wait a while longer.

I grabbed Once Again for a steal at BookOutlet. Not only does it have a gorgeous cover -- and trust me, the picture doesn't do it justice; it's even prettier in person -- but I love that it's two stories in one book: Snow and Beauty Sleep. I adore fairy tales, but I've been disappointed by a few retellings in the past. Hopefully, you guys can help me out.

Have you read Once Again? What are your thoughts?
Do I drop everything and start reading -- or put it back on my shelf?

Hope everyone has a great weekend! We'll see you Monday!

  1. Wow! The cover indeed is beautiful. And ohh, re-telling story eh? I've read two stories like this one and so far I liked them. Hopefully this one's great. Stalking mood hehe

  2. Gorgeous cover. I am a sucker for retellings, but I keep getting burned. This one looks and sounds promising. I hope it is a wonderful read for you. I will be awaiting your review. Have a lovely weekend.

  3. Book Outlet is our weakness! Also a weakness... fairy tale retellings. This sounds so good and I love me some sleeping beauty. I shall need to know how this is should you read it.

  5. I have read this and it is very interesting! The scientific twist and addition of new characters made this a very delightful read. Would I tell you to drop everything and read it...no. But is it interesting and a good read...yes!
