It's Monday! What are you reading?

It's Monday! What are you reading? is a great weekly meme now hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date. It's where we share what we're currently reading and what we're starting next.

Hope everyone's week is off to a great start! We got a lot of reading in this weekend -- and of course got TWD watched, so once we pull ourselves back together again, here's what we'll be reading.

Currently reading:

Mckenzie: This one is not my choice (thank you, English class), but I'm enjoying it so far.

Michele: This one's off to a good start!

Up next:

Mckenzie: I've been wanting to reread this series for a while now, and I'm so happy to finally be getting back to it! Even if I can only squeeze in a chapter a night, I can hardly wait to get back to this amazing world.

Michele: Another review book. This summary is chilling and already has me intrigued. Can't wait to see what happens.

Previous posts:

Michele's review of Only Daughter by Anna Snoekstra
On My Shelf: Pure by Julianna Baggott
Mckenzie's review of What Light by Jay Asher

And we're participating in the Spooktacular Giveaway Hop this week, so stop by for the chance to win a book of your choice!

What are you reading this week?
We hope you have a happy Monday!

  1. Ohhhh Macbeth is sooooo good though! I remember really loving that one. And its the perfect Halloween Shakespeare read. AND OMG HARRY POTTER! One can never read Harry Potter too much! I am so excited you are re-reading them. It is sooo fun finding all the hidden stuff when you go back, because no matter how many times you read them you always find something new. And now that I have sufficiently fangirled all over Mckenzies reads haha Michele yours look good too! Although the cover for Criminal Zoo is freaking me out for some reason lol

    1. I'm definitely loving it! And I completely agree; I can't wait to get back to Hogwarts :-) Oh -- and Mom's book cover IS creepy. Every time I pass by her and she's holding that book, it makes me shudder! Hope you have an awesome week <3

  2. I am glad to hear you are enjoying Macbeth, McKenzie. I actually really loved Hamlet back in the day when I read it. I am looking forward to reading HP with my kids soon. I am collecting the illustrated versions, they are gorgeous. Have a wonderful week.

    1. I really am! And Hamlet is definitely on my to-read list; I can't wait to get to that one! We absolutely love our illustrated versions of HP, too. So beautiful. Hope you have an amazing week :-)

Thank you for stopping by our blog! We don't participate in blog tags, and this is an award-free blog; but we do love making new bookish friends. Happy Reading!
