Happy Saturday!  It's the month for celebrating novellas, short stories, prequels, and anthologies at A Belle's Tales; and I have a very special guest review for you today.  Teresa from Readers Live A Thousand Lives is not only one of my best blogging buddies, but also one of my dearest friends.  Her reviews are so enthusiastic that she's ... well, frankly, she's cost me a lot of money... but it's all good.  She keeps my Kindle fed, and I love her for it. She is a huge Michelle Leighton fan; and I adored her review of Wild Child so much that I asked if she would guest post it here, and she generously agreed.  I'm going to give away a copy of this amazing sounding novella so enjoy Teresa's review, check out her awesome blog, and fill out the Rafflecopter form below for a chance to win Wild Child.  Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!!

Teresa's Review:

Communication is key! That is the lesson we should all take away from Wild Child. Oh these two! This was such a lovely lovely novella. Rusty and Jenna clearly love each other however both have a hard time communicating that to one another. Each has their own idea of their relationship and speaking up would have helped clear a few things up. I absolutely loved Jenna and Rusty’s story and after waiting what feels like forever for this book, I was not at all disappointed!

Despite this being a novella, it still packs the punch of a full length novel. I connected with the characters and felt for them. I rooted for them from page one and my heart broke for them over and over. The book made me cry not once, but twice. That is not an easy thing to do, especially over the relatively short span of a novella.

Rusty was oh so swoony and I easily fell in love with him. Jenna was so snarky and fun and well, wild. She is most certainly a wild child, but in a good way. These two together are so much fun and they balance each other so well. They make a fantastic couple. And I need to take a second to appreciate the costume party scene. The chemistry between those two leaped off the pages but in that scene it didn’t just leap but flew!

Of course we get to see Trick and Cami again and that made me flail like a whacked out muppet baby. I loved what we saw of them. Trick managed to make me swoon and cry even as a secondary character. Trick remains my very favorite M. Leighton guy. I honestly doubt there will come a day when he gets beat out and if he does, well then that new guy must be something special.

Wild Child is a fantastic addition to The Wild Ones series and was worth the wait. Rusty and Jenna make for an awesome read and oh yeah, it is super steamy too. Definitely one to add to your “must read” list.

About Teresa:

Teresa is a 24-year-old who crunches numbers by day and blogs by night. One of her main joys in life is devouring a book in one sitting. She is of the belief that reading a good book is 10 times better than watching anything on TV. Although she does possess a fondness for The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and True Blood. Her favorite classic is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, but she thinks Jennifer L. Armentrout is the best thing since sliced bread. When she isn’t reading, she is most likely playing golf. She enjoys listening to music, particularly bands like Marianas Trench and All Time Low. She has a crazy love of dogs and cannot remember a time in her life without one. Tootsie rolls are her obsession and her favorite color is green.

This whole series sounds incredible!  Thank you so much, Teresa, for sharing your review -- I can hardly wait to start these books!  Love you, girl xoxo
